Jim was selected by Atlanta Magazine to build the 2008 Atlanta Magazine Dream Home in The River Club subdivision. The magazine does only one Dream Home per year and selected Jim because of his reputation for constructing high quality luxury custom homes. This home was designed from the ground up to create a truly special show home. Each room of the home displays unique architecture and impeccable attention to detail. The home sold prior to completion of construction for a price in excess of $4 Million.
Jim has participated in a previous Atlanta Street of Dreams. Jim’s home won numerous awards including Best of Show from both the Professional Judging category and the Public Judging category. The home won 9 out of 12 first place awards.
Jim has also won a silver OBIE Professionalism award for a home that he constructed in the Country Club of the South. The award came in the category of homes in excess of $1million.
In 2009, Jim Bankes, Inc was invited to join the 2-10 Home Builder Warranty "Elite" Builder Program. 2-10 HBW developed the Elite Builder program to recognize and support a select group of builders.
